22nd March 2003 Kite buggying - boarding: gnosall Wind Direction: sw Wind Stength: 9 mph Surf / Sea State: long grass Air Temperature: warm Sea Temperature: pond by field was co Weather: sunny Max Speed: Distance Covered: i had to enter something as its been so long went out on my mountain board and my 6.4 blade2 at local cricket club got kite flying ok in gusty conditions took my hannah (oldest of the terrors) to learn her how to fly it. i thinks it a bit big for her as shes only 4 stone kept lifting her off the ground. towards the end of the day it picked up to about 9 mph so i took the board out as well its a lot harder to get it going in long grass but eventually managed it to the delight of the cricket club members (GET OFF THE GREEN) they didnt mind after a while as they relies the rubber wasnt hurting there grass. strange they where playing rugby earlier and that was ok its been nice to add an entry as its been a while |
